Our Story

It started with a grain and grew into something more

Simply Quinoa was born in 2012 when I went gluten- and dairy-free. I was at a loss as to what (and how) to cook, and discovered a completely new-to-me ingredient: quinoa. What started as a hobby blog became a gathering place for people who wanted to eat real food without the overwhelm.

Over the past 14 years, the site has grown far beyond what I ever could have imagined. Today, Simply Quinoa is a trusted resource for hundreds of thousands of people who are looking to cook from scratch, eat well, and actually enjoy the process.

As a mom of two little kids myself, my goal is to keep prep to a minimum, ingredient lists short, and the end result something everyone will enjoy.
