I use flax eggs in these brownies instead of chicken eggs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you combine ground flax seeds with a small amount of water, the mixture gets a gel-like consistency, a little bit like egg whites. While you can\u2019t scramble or poach this mixture, you <em>can<\/em> bake with it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a lot of other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simplyquinoa.com\/vegan-egg-substitutes\/\">vegan egg substitutes<\/a> that you can use in your baking, but I\u2019ve tested this recipe with flax eggs and I know it works! Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prepare<\/strong>. Preheat your oven to 350\u00baF and line an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mix the wet ingredients<\/strong>. In a large mixing bowl, beat the coconut oil and almond butter until the mixture is creamy.
